Update to U.S. Prescribing Information for ENBREL
Amgen and Wyeth are committed to the highest standards of patient safety.
The US Prescribing Information for ENBREL has been updated with the addition of a boxed warning relating to the risk of infections, including tuberculosis (TB), which is similar to labeling for other medicines in the TNF inhibitor class. Additionally, the patient package insert (PPI) for ENBREL has been replaced with a Medication Guide. The content of the Medication Guide is similar to the PPI, and contains important safety information that patients need to be aware of when being treated with ENBREL.
